THE STUDENT LIFE

SPIRITUAL LIFE

The spiritual growth of students is of primary concern to the administration and faculty of Andhra Bible College. Daily personal devotions are encouraged, and devotional groups meet regularly in the residence halls and in IBM church.

Voluntary prayer groups are also held to acquaint students with personal and ministry needs and to organize prayer.

CHAPEL

Students are required to attend chapel as part of their Christian service responsibilities and as an integral part of their Christian education. All the students are required to attend chapel the days they are on campus. Chapel meets five days a week; many well-known preachers from the local and abroad come to speak at Andhra Bible College.

RESIDENCE HALL

The residence hall is maintained for students in order to provide lodging as economically as possible and to give students a “home away from home.” College policy requires that all the single students must live in the residence hall.  Part-time students taking only one or two classes may request administrative approval, regardless of the student’s age or academic load. Each student is expected to furnish the following; pillow, bed sheet and blankets for a single bed, bucket, mug, plate, glass, curry cup, mosquito net, torch light, suit case with lock, bath towels, dictionary (English to English) and KJV or NKJV English Bible and should be prepared to share expenses for items such as an ironing board, broom, and trashcan. Computers, radios, stereos, lamps, may be used in the rooms. Students are welcome to bring something to decorate their rooms to make them comfortable.

HEALTH SERVICE

Every effort is made to keep the College environment safe for the students. The College expects the students to act responsibly and reasonably while enrolled at Andhra Bible College.

Andhra Bible College does not accept liability for illness or accident on or off campus in extracurricular games or in sporting activities Students use the school facilities and participate in school directed or school related activities at their own risk.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

Specific policies applying to various areas of life on campus and in the residence halls are in the Student Handbook, which will be issued upon arrival, the rules are reasonable and necessary for successful Christian living while enrolled at Andhra Bible College.

MARRIED STUDENTS

Married students may have on-campus residency based on the availability or they may have off-campus residency. Being married and living off-campus does not mean being separated from all the activities of the College. Married couples are encouraged to participate.
