UNDERGRADUATE DEGREES
BTCS offers several degree programs on the undergraduate level. The one-year Associate degree could be earned with a major in Theology. The three-year Bachelor of Theology degree program is built around a minimum of 30 hours of Bible and Theology courses, 40 hours of General Education courses, 24 hours in Christian service or methods courses.These courses are designed to allow for a maximum of flexibility fro career choices in church and Christian ministries.
ASSOCIATE OF THEOLOGY (A. Th)
Description
BTCS offers the Associate in Theology to interested individuals who wish to increase their knowledge of the Bible, particularly in the areas of historical content, the life and ministry of Jesus Christ, and Christian Doctrine. This program will profit those who may not intend to pursue a degree but wish to enhance their effectiveness as a teacher or worker in a local church.The mission of the Associate in Theology program is to open the door to lifelong learning in Bible and Theology for those serving in non-vocational ministry.
Entrance Requirements
The student applying for this program must have passed 10th standard / S.S.C examination.The following classes comprise the 18-hour Associate in Theology program of study.
BACHELOR OF THEOLOGY (B. Th)
Description
The Bachelor of Theology Major is designed for students who desire to complete a three-year program of study that prepares them for ministry roles in variety of church-related vocations. This Program also serves as preparation for seminary or graduate school studies. The student must have a grade average of C or better in order to graduate.
Entrance Requirements
The student applying for this program must have passed Intermediate / 12th standard.Baptist Theological College and Seminary, in agreement with I Timothy 3:2 and Titus 1:6, does not admit women into the pastoral training program. Women are given exempt from pastoral training related classes.The following classes comprise the 100-hour Bachelor of Theology program of study.
BACHELOR OF RELIGIOUS EDUCATION (B. R. E)
The Bachelor of Religious Education Major is designed for students who desire to complete a three-year program of study that prepares them for ministry roles in variety of church-related vocations but do not wish to go through the labor-intensive language courses. This Program also serves as preparation for seminary or graduate school studies. The student must have a grade average of C or better in order to graduate.The classes comprise similar to the 100-hour Bachelor degree with an exemption from language courses.
